Overview

Clarivate is seeking a Senior Healthcare Research & Data Analyst to join our Medtech Data team in Bengaluru. This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage real-world healthcare and medical device data, generate actionable insights, and support strategic decisions for global Medtech clients.

In this role, you will perform data analysis, market research, forecasting, competitive intelligence, and deliver custom consulting projects. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify business opportunities, analyze large datasets, and influence product and data strategy.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct primary and secondary market research to evaluate medical device and healthcare trends.

  • Build, mine, and manage large datasets to support market modeling, analysis, and forecasting.

  • Maintain and update Medtech product catalogs, ensuring data integrity and completeness.

  • Analyze competitor products, market segmentation, and industry dynamics to support strategic decision-making.

  • Evaluate data outputs, identify trends, correct anomalies, and provide actionable insights.

  • Contribute to the evolution of data models, product offerings, and analytical workflows.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand customer needs and provide data-driven solutions.


Qualifications and Prerequisites

  • Bachelor’s (B.E.) or Master’s (M.Sc.) degree in Biotechnology, Medical Electronics, Pharmacy, or related fields.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in healthcare or medtech data analysis.

  • Strong hands-on expertise in SQL and Python for data querying and analysis.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with large datasets.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting data insights clearly.

  • Ability to manage tight deadlines while handling multiple priorities efficiently.

  • Solution-oriented mindset with a focus on timely execution.

Preferred Skills

  • Understanding of Medtech data, healthcare domain, and claims/pharmacy data.

  • Experience with data vendor platforms and integrating multiple datasets.

  • Knowledge of analytical or visualization tools such as R, Tableau, Power BI.

  • Familiarity with forecasting models and market research methodologies.

The Medtech Data team at Clarivate empowers medical device and healthcare organizations by delivering insights from large, real-world datasets. Our analysts play a pivotal role in guiding strategic decisions, identifying market opportunities, and enhancing product development initiatives.


Work Schedule

  • Standard working hours: 12 PM – 9 PM IST, Monday to Friday.

  • Hybrid work mode, with on-site presence in Bengaluru as required.
