Assistant Data Programmer | Entry-Level (0–2 years) | Salary: 3–6 LPA


Job Description

Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions, dedicated to improving health and advancing patient care worldwide. The company is hiring an Assistant Data Programmer for its Data Transfer team located at Brigade Twin Tower, Yeshwanthpur, Bangalore. This role operates in a rotating shift environment with a 5-day work schedule.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage data cleaning activities for assigned clinical studies and clients.

  • Collaborate with client and CRO data managers to develop query management strategies during study start-up.

  • Maintain and execute data cleaning schedules throughout the study lifecycle.

  • Ensure all data reconciliation is completed before database lock.

  • Analyze data discrepancies and update databases as per client requirements and GCP guidelines.

  • Coordinate with internal and external teams for timely resolution of data issues.

  • Act as a communication bridge between clients and internal departments.

  • Provide updates, follow-ups, and resolution support for data-related queries.

  • Generate and review database reports and ensure accuracy.

  • Perform quality checks on data revisions and client deliverables.

  • Escalate critical issues that may impact project timelines.

  • Ensure adherence to deadlines and maintain workload priorities effectively.

  • Support global teams in maintaining smooth operational workflows.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology (B.Tech or equivalent).

  • Basic knowledge of SQL and Informatica (6+ months preferred).


Preferred Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

  • Ability to work in a global, team-oriented environment.

  • Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred).

  • Experience in clinical data management or healthcare domain (preferred).
