Job Overview
Lambda Therapeutic Research Ltd. is seeking a skilled Senior Executive – Process Sciences to support upstream process development activities for monoclonal antibodies (mAbs). The role involves planning and executing upstream processing activities, working with mammalian cell cultures, and supporting the development of clinical-grade drug substances. The position requires hands-on experience in aseptic processing, bioreactor operations, and laboratory-scale optimization of upstream processes in GLP/GMP environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and independently execute upstream processing activities related to monoclonal antibody (mAb) development within the Process Sciences group.

  • Perform aseptic cell culture operations and maintain sterile laboratory procedures for upstream bioprocessing.

  • Operate disposable mini bioreactors and glass laboratory bioreactors with minimal supervision.

  • Prepare media, feeds, and supplements while ensuring proper sterile filtration procedures.

  • Conduct in-process analysis using automated bioanalyzers and automated cell counters.

  • Support mAb upstream process development within GLP/GMP compliant laboratory environments.

  • Perform clone screening, media screening, and feed screening using AMBR 15 and AMBR 250 mini bioreactor systems as well as shake flask cultures.

  • Optimize upstream processing conditions using laboratory-scale bioreactors such as 5L and 10L systems.

  • Apply Design of Experiments (DOE) methodologies and perform data trending and analysis to improve process performance.

  • Maintain accurate documentation, ensure quality assurance compliance, and prepare technical reports and data presentations.

Technical Skills

  • Strong expertise in mammalian cell culture and upstream bioprocessing for monoclonal antibodies.

  • Hands-on experience with AMBR mini bioreactors, disposable bioreactors, and laboratory-scale glass bioreactors.

  • Knowledge of aseptic processing, sterile filtration, and cell culture media preparation.

  • Familiarity with GLP and GMP requirements for biopharmaceutical development.

  • Experience in DOE-based experimental design and data analysis.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Excellent documentation and scientific reporting skills.

Educational Qualification
