Position Overview

The Senior Executive I – Quality Control is responsible for executing sampling, testing, and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and other related samples to ensure compliance with SOPs, regulatory standards, and Baxter’s quality expectations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out sampling of all materials according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Verify and ensure correct status labeling on materials and transfer them to respective areas.

  • Perform analysis according to specifications and standard test procedures.

  • Record test results accurately in relevant documents for raw materials, packaging materials, in-process samples, validation samples, finished products, and other samples.

  • Support investigations related to failures such as Out of Specification (OOS), Out of Trend (OOT), laboratory incidents, or non-conformities and initiate corrective and preventive actions.

  • Prepare and standardize reagents and volumetric solutions; verify their standardization.

  • Raise and implement change controls or document change requests as necessary.

  • Conduct chemical analysis as per protocols.

  • Assess test results to ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.

  • Perform calibration of analytical instruments and ensure timely completion.

  • Adhere to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) within the Quality Control laboratory.

  • Ensure availability of working and impurity standards as per various pharmacopoeias.

  • Assist supervisors in SOP preparation and suggest improvements for system performance.

  • Verify calibration status and review instrument calibration as per schedule.

  • Coordinate with Analytical Development Lab (ADL) for successful method transfers.

  • Record data accurately into Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).

  • Ensure daily recording and traceability of testing data.

  • Maintain laboratory readiness for audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
