Job Description:

As a Senior Brand Leader - Rare Disease, you will be responsible for strategically optimizing product life cycles, maintaining key customer relationships in the super-specialty segment, and driving demand generation. The role includes Strategic Marketing, communications, content development, promotional event planning, market intelligence, and ensuring alignment with global strategies. A key focus will be building relationships with sales teams and internal stakeholders to drive brand success.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Brand & Therapy Development:

  • Achieve market share objectives, bottom-line targets, and profitability.
  • Develop and execute promotional plans for the Rare Disease portfolio, ensuring alignment with brand strategy.
  • Study market conditions, forecast sales, and monitor market share.
  • Provide macro-level market insights and customer feedback for strategic planning.
  • Plan and execute HCP marketing activities for KOSELUGO and new launches (Soliris) via personal promotion and digital solutions.
  • Develop and execute product strategic and tactical plans while tracking implementation.
  • Validate sales trends and market share performance.
  • Ensure patient models are aligned with global and regional brand templates.
  • Collaborate with sales management teams to ensure target achievement.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build relationships with key external stakeholders, decision-makers, and patient advocacy groups.
  • Develop engagement plans to enhance patient access and outcomes.
  • Identify and collaborate with key opinion leaders (KEEs) and market influencers.

Process Improvement & Financial Planning:

  • Monitor monthly performance vs budget and analyze gaps.
  • Submit monthly performance summaries, including activities and expenditures.
  • Optimize reporting systems and streamline processes for efficiency.
  • Expertise in financial forecasting, patient models, and resource management.

People Management:

  • Effectively coach and mentor the Brand Activation Manager.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong functional expertise in brand management from market understanding to strategic planning.
  • Ability to analyze complex ecosystems and patient journeys to drive a positive patient experience.
  • Proven track record in New Launch Excellence (Pre to post-launch).
  • High-level understanding of innovative Pricing and Market Access models.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate at a global and regional level.
  • Experience in digital marketing, omnichannel strategy, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
