Job Summary
Amgen, a global leader in biotechnology and pharmaceutical innovation, is hiring a Senior Associate for Global Procurement – Strategic Capability Enablement in Hyderabad. In this high-impact role, you'll support the design, coordination, and execution of procurement capability-building strategies. Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update the global procurement capability framework and related documentation.
Track progress on strategic capability roadmaps and ensure alignment with procurement goals.
Assist in data analysis and benchmarking to inform capability-building initiatives.
Support global teams with embedding tools, frameworks, and best practices into procurement operations.
Coordinate rollout, training, and adoption of procurement processes across global functions.
Create and maintain change management materials such as guides, reference docs, and communications.
Participate in working groups and identify areas for continuous improvement.
Assist in creating executive reports, dashboards, and presentations to track strategic progress.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, strategic program management, transformation, or consulting.
Experience in procurement, supply chain, or capability development.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Exposure to platforms such as Ariba, Coupa, Tableau, or Power BI is preferred.
Understanding of CLM tools (e.g., Workday Strategic Sourcing) is a plus.
Team player with analytical mindset and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
