Senior Associate – Global Procurement (Strategic Capability Enablement)

Job Summary

Amgen, a global leader in biotechnology and pharmaceutical innovation, is hiring a Senior Associate for Global Procurement – Strategic Capability Enablement in Hyderabad. In this high-impact role, you'll support the design, coordination, and execution of procurement capability-building strategies. Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the global procurement capability framework and related documentation.

  • Track progress on strategic capability roadmaps and ensure alignment with procurement goals.

  • Assist in data analysis and benchmarking to inform capability-building initiatives.

  • Support global teams with embedding tools, frameworks, and best practices into procurement operations.

  • Coordinate rollout, training, and adoption of procurement processes across global functions.

  • Create and maintain change management materials such as guides, reference docs, and communications.

  • Participate in working groups and identify areas for continuous improvement.

  • Assist in creating executive reports, dashboards, and presentations to track strategic progress.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, strategic program management, transformation, or consulting.

  • Experience in procurement, supply chain, or capability development.

  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Exposure to platforms such as Ariba, Coupa, Tableau, or Power BI is preferred.

  • Understanding of CLM tools (e.g., Workday Strategic Sourcing) is a plus.

  • Team player with analytical mindset and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
