About the Role
Deloitte is hiring a Senior Analyst – Life Sciences and Health Care (LSHC) Insights Specialist within the CoRe Research & Insights team. This strategic research consulting role supports global leadership across the Life Sciences and Health Care sectors through high-quality insights, analytical research, and market intelligence.
The role is ideal for professionals passionate about LSHC, with strong analytical skills and experience in providing data-driven insights for business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Research & Insights
Deliver actionable insights across Pharma, Medical Devices, Biotech, Health Care Providers, and Payer operations.
Analyze growth strategies, competitive landscapes, regulatory trends, innovation drivers, and industry disruptions.
Assess opportunities in digital transformation, strategic partnerships, and emerging business models.
Consultative Problem-Solving
Develop tailored research solutions for senior stakeholders.
Support Deloitte’s thought leadership by identifying emerging trends and forecasting market dynamics.
Data Analysis & Interpretation
Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data from diverse global sources.
Apply financial and strategic frameworks to generate evidence-based recommendations.
Project Management & Collaboration
Deliver high-quality research projects within timelines.
Engage with global teams and senior stakeholders to manage expectations and deliver insights.
Team Development
Contribute to internal knowledge-building and process improvements.
Mentor junior members to enhance sector expertise and analytical capability.
Qualifications
Postgraduate degree: M-Pharma, MBA, MSc Biotech, or equivalent.
4–6 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in research or consulting within the Life Sciences and Health Care sector.
Strong exposure to at least two LSHC sub-sectors (Pharma, MedTech, Biotech, Providers, Payers).
Deep understanding of LSHC value chains, operations, regulations, and market dynamics.
Excellent business writing, communication, and presentation skills.
Strong data visualization and storyboarding experience.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience with senior stakeholder engagement.
Knowledge of Gen AI tools and prompt engineering is an advantage.
Experience Required
Minimum Experience: 4 years
Relevant Industry Experience: 3+ years in Life Sciences and Health Care research or consulting
Preferred Skills: Cross-functional global collaboration, advanced analytics, literature review, competitive intelligence
