Team Overview
The Antibody Team focuses on engineering and developing antibodies with an emphasis on reagent quality and specificity. This team is involved in the design, development, purification, conjugation, and testing of antibodies for immunoassay applications, aiming to create product-specific information for research use.


Role & Responsibilities
As a Scientist I, Molecular Biology, you will be a key part of the antibody development team, utilizing innovative molecular biology methods. Your role will involve meticulous experimental planning and execution to ensure the program goals are met.

  • Perform detailed experimental planning and execution to meet team goals.

  • Maintain accurate records of experimental results and update laboratory notebooks regularly.

  • Keep abreast of the latest advancements in antibody development through literature review.

  • Compile and present data in both written and oral formats, actively participating in team meetings.

  • Adhere to schedules and maintain attention to detail in all experimental work.


Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Master’s degree with 0-3 years of relevant experience or a recently submitted Ph.D. (within the last year) in life sciences, focusing on protein design, molecular biology, immunology, biotechnology, or biochemistry.

Nature of Experience

  • Experience in molecular biology (e.g., nucleic acid extraction, PCR, cloning).

  • Experience with RNA work and knowledge of best practices.

  • Familiarity with bioinformatics tools like BLAST, sequence analysis, and vector construction.

  • Experience in single-cell molecular biology workflows, next-generation sequencing, or display technologies is a plus.

  • Knowledge of protein purification and immunoassay techniques (e.g., ELISA, Western Blot, Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry).

  • Experience with antibody conjugation and protein work is a bonus.

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and statistical software like Prism.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts for process and product improvement.
