About the Team:

Sanofi Business Operations (SBO) is a centralized internal team at Sanofi supporting global functions including Specialty Care, Vaccines, General Medicines, Consumer Healthcare (CHC), Contract Manufacturing Operations (CMO), R&D, and Data & Digital. SBO collaborates with Medical, HEVA (Health Economics and Value Assessment), and Commercial teams to deliver strategic and operational excellence.


Main Responsibilities:

Content Development & Expertise:

  • Independently create complex and specialized scientific/medical content.

  • Manage the full content development cycle including documentation and approvals in PromoMats/iEnvision (formerly Datavision/MATRIX).

  • Build and maintain subject matter expertise in assigned therapeutic areas.

  • Review and coach content created by junior scientific writers.

  • Collaborate with global peers to enhance content quality and team practices.

People Collaboration:

  • Maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., medical scientific community, Global Business Units).

  • Interact with healthcare professionals for developing accurate publication content.

  • Provide ongoing support and mentorship to junior writers.

Performance Delivery:

  • Deliver high-quality, timely medical and publication materials (e.g., abstracts, posters, slide decks, manuscripts).

  • Provide strategic input and content support to medical institutions and individuals involved in publication activities.

Process & Project Management:

  • Develop advanced educational and publication materials.

  • Drive communication strategies aligned with therapeutic area needs.

  • Contribute to comprehensive publication-needs analysis and implement annual plans.

  • Collaborate with regional vendors and monitor deliverables.

  • Utilize modern training tools and methods for improved content delivery.

  • Analyze user feedback to enhance future course design and outcomes.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work with regional scientific communication teams to identify needs and co-develop deliverables.

  • Coordinate with medical departments to tailor content for different target audiences.


About You:

  • Experience:
    More than 4 years in scientific/medical content creation in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, or academia.

  • Education:
    Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field; or a Medical Degree (MD).

  • Technical Skills:
    Strong knowledge of therapeutic domains, publication platforms, scientific writing, and project management tools/processes.

  • Soft Skills:
    Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, team leadership, and ability to work independently.

  • Languages:
    Fluent in spoken and written English.
