The Global M&S Services Hub plays a central role in this mission, supporting regulatory compliance, product license maintenance, and technical writing of CMC documents.
Position: Product Stewardship Specialist
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic regulatory advice related to substances (e.g., safety data sheets, classification, packaging & labeling, transport classification, local regulations).
Monitor regulatory developments and ensure compliance.
Collaborate with the Global Product Stewardship team.
Edit and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) using IT tools.
Independently evaluate and validate substance data for classification and labeling according to international standards (GHS/CLP, Seveso, transport regulations).
Document and version product stewardship information (SDS, Hazard Classification Sheets, references, and reports).
Conduct substance data searches, evaluate results, and maintain internal databases.
Communicate results and conclusions clearly (oral and written) with sites and Business Units.
About You
Experience
5+ years of industry experience, including at least 2+ years in Product Stewardship.
Professional experience in product safety/product stewardship, chemical laws, and classification & labeling of hazardous substances.
Strong experience in writing and interpreting Safety Data Sheets.
Technical Skills
Certified competent person for SDS writing (per §18 (4) Hazard Substance Ordinance, Germany).
Proficiency in SAP-EHS module, including integration with SAP ERP.
Experience with SERC – SAP EHS Regulatory Content (now 3E ERC EHS Regulatory Content).
Certified IATA training for Dangerous Goods Transportation.
Knowledge of toxicological/pharma toxicological principles (advantage).
Familiarity with AI tools for SDS design (e.g., Opesus) (advantage).
Experience with Extended SDS, Biocides, and biological agents (advantage).

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Science or a Technical discipline (minimum).
