🧠 About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Procurement Risk Assurance, the Risk Assurance – Senior Analyst plays a key role in assessing, managing, and mitigating supplier-related risks.

This position supports the development and execution of risk management strategies, ensuring Sanofi’s supplier relationships align with the organization’s compliance, security, and business goals.


🎯 Key Responsibilities

1. 🔍 Risk Assessment

  • Conduct vendor and third-party risk assessments to ensure compliance with internal security and risk policies.

  • Regularly review vendor performance and identify risk exposure.

  • Work with Procurement and Legal teams to address risk mitigation and governance needs.

2. ✅ Compliance

  • Ensure end-to-end procurement process compliance with regulatory standards and Sanofi’s internal policies.

  • Enhance and monitor controls to strengthen the procurement lifecycle.

  • Apply frameworks such as ISO 27001 and GDPR for compliance assurance.

3. 📊 Reporting & Data Visualization

  • Develop and maintain risk dashboards and reports for leadership teams.

  • Track Supplier Risk Factors, TPRM (Third-Party Risk Management) metrics, and KPIs.

  • Preferred tools: Power BI and COUPA Analytics.

4. 🤝 Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Procurement, GBUs, and Risk Experts to embed risk management practices across supplier relationships.

  • Collaborate globally to ensure alignment with Sanofi’s governance and compliance framework.

5. 🚀 Continuous Improvement

  • Identify gaps and propose process improvements in risk management practices.

  • Implement best practices and digital solutions to drive efficiency and transparency.


🎓 Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or a related field.

Experience

  • Proven experience in Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) and due diligence processes.

  • Hands-on experience with risk tools such as:

    • CRA, Ariba, OneTrust, etc.

  • Knowledge of risk frameworks like ISO 27001, GDPR, or similar.

  • Familiarity with Procurement processes and Category Management principles.

  • Experience in Healthcare or Life Sciences industry preferred.

  • International or global exposure working with diverse, cross-cultural teams.

Technical Skills

  • Strong data visualization and dashboarding capabilities (Power BI preferred).

  • Ability to interpret security-related clauses in third-party contracts.

  • Analytical problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail.

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.

  • Ability to explain complex risk concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Collaborative and proactive team player with a global mindset.

Languages

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
