Job Opportunity: Remote Medical Scribe at Scribe-X

Compensation: $14 to $17 per hour

Job Overview:

Scribe Pay Structure:

$11/hour – No scribe experience
$12/hour – 6+ months scribe experience
$14-17/hour – Lead scribe (1+ year scribe experience required)
+ $1/hour for fluent Spanish-speaking candidates

Job Duties:

Chart Preparation: Follow clinic protocols for chart preparation.
Patient Visits: Accompany the healthcare provider during patient visits and document history, physical exams, procedures, and patient plans.
Quality Metrics: Assist in documenting relevant quality metrics.
Order Entries: Input laboratory, radiographic, and medication orders as dictated by the provider.
Patient Instructions: Document and print patient instructions.
Chart Review: Review completed charts with the provider.
Provider Preferences: Update provider and clinic preference documents as necessary.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred) with a GPA of 3.00 or greater. Alternatively, 1+ years of full-time work experience as a scribe.
Typing Speed: At least 60 WPM.
Skills: Excellent verbal and written English, strong computer skills, and the ability to learn new software quickly.
Healthcare Track: Preferred (e.g., pre-med, pre-PA, pre-nursing).
Experience: Medical scribe experience is preferred.
