Job Title: Regional Medical Lead Radiology

Position Overview:
The Regional Medical Lead (RML) for Radiology is responsible for the planning and execution of the disease-focused medical strategy, aligning the disease strategy with collaborative initiatives across functions. The RML will also support the VP of APAC Medical Affairs and provide medical expertise to assist with regulatory, development, and business initiatives. The role involves leadership in regional and global disease initiatives, managing relationships with thought leaders (TLs), and contributing to pivotal studies, investigator-initiated research, and market access programs. The incumbent will work closely with internal teams, external stakeholders, and support regulatory submissions and medical queries for new indications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and develop the APAC radiology disease medical strategy and plan.
  • Lead or co-lead regional and global disease initiatives.
  • Foster partnerships with thought leaders in medical education and clinical/scientific research.
  • Provide medical expertise and advice to support regulatory, development, and business initiatives.
  • Support the development of medical education materials and publications.
  • Interpret and communicate complex scientific data to external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to market access programs and collaborate cross-functionally across regions.
  • Provide proactive medical expertise to local markets and build relationships with regional medical affairs colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced clinical/science degrees (MSc, PhD, PharmD, MD) preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in roles such as MSL or Medical Advisor. Experience in radiology or liver disease is a plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Excellent teamwork and independent working capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
