Job Overview

Syneos Health is seeking a dynamic and strategic professional for the position of Regional Communications Specialist. The selected candidate will lead internal and external communications initiatives across India and other rapidly growing regions while supporting employee engagement, brand visibility, and regional business alignment.

This role requires strong communication expertise, strategic storytelling capabilities, stakeholder management skills, and experience working in matrixed global organizations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic regional communication plans aligned with global corporate priorities
  • Act as a communications advisor to regional leaders and cross-functional business teams
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives through impactful internal communication strategies
  • Create and manage communication calendars for newsletters, intranet updates, leadership messages, town halls, videos, and employee campaigns
  • Coordinate and support internal corporate events, leadership roadshows, and celebratory initiatives
  • Execute regional external communication strategies aligned with the global brand identity
  • Develop compelling regional content and storytelling initiatives to enhance market visibility
  • Support brand-building campaigns, community engagement activities, and regional partnerships
  • Collaborate with creative agencies and external communication partners
  • Identify and promote regional achievements, milestones, innovations, and success stories
  • Support customer engagement and talent acquisition events
  • Monitor communication effectiveness through engagement metrics and feedback analysis
  • Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels and touchpoints
  • Stay updated with communication trends, digital engagement strategies, and healthcare industry developments

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in:
    • Communications
    • Journalism
    • Marketing
    • Public Relations
    • Or related disciplines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to tailor messaging for multiple audiences and platforms
  • Experience working in fast-paced and collaborative global environments

Experience Requirements

  • Relevant experience in Corporate Communications, Internal Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing
  • Prior experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences sectors will be highly preferred
  • Experience in event management, employee engagement, and community outreach is advantageous
  • Freshers are generally not preferred for this role due to the strategic and cross-functional responsibilities involved
