Role Overview:
The QC Laboratory Technician will support all quality control (QC) laboratory activities, performing routine analytical tasks and contributing to operational excellence. This role requires a combination of independence for routine work and collaborative engagement for complex or specialized activities. The ideal candidate demonstrates meticulous attention to detail, adherence to regulatory standards, and a commitment to laboratory safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain laboratory workstations with consumables, reagents, and supplies.

  • Conduct reagent inventory management and ensure adequate stock levels for seamless laboratory operations.

  • Support sample management activities including sample receipt, inventory, preparation, destruction, and shipping.

  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation such as Flow Cytometers and qPCR systems.

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment.

  • Review and verify analytical method steps, ensuring accuracy of experimental data.

  • Follow SOPs, safety protocols, and cGMP standards to maintain a compliant laboratory environment.

  • Collaborate with other laboratory personnel to meet project deadlines and objectives.

  • Assist with any additional tasks assigned by management.

Experience & Qualifications Required:

  • Associate degree or higher in a relevant science discipline (Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field).

  • Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or medical device industry.

  • Hands-on experience with micro-pipetting and aseptic techniques.

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements, cGMP, and quality systems (e.g., ESOPs).

  • Experience using laboratory information management systems (LIMS) or equivalent.

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical lab tasks as required.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Knowledge of QC laboratory processes, cGMP standards, and regulatory compliance.

  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.

  • High attention to detail in handling laboratory equipment, reagents, and samples.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

  • Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

  • Adaptable, self-motivated, and capable of learning new techniques quickly.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary range: $45,300 – $84,100 per year (commensurate with experience and skills).
