🧭 Job Overview:

As a PRN Research Technician I, you will support the Clinical Pharmacology Start-up team in initiating Early Phase clinical trials. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in hands-on clinical work while contributing to the development of new drugs at a critical stage.


🔬 Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform clinical tasks including:

    • Vital signs: Blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate, temperature

    • Venipuncture and weight measurements

    • Preparation and accurate recording of ECGs/Holters

  • Collect, process, and distribute biological samples per study protocol

  • Monitor meal consumption to ensure dietary compliance

  • Assist in:

    • Preparing rooms and medical equipment

    • Conducting screening procedures as needed

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment

  • Support the clinical study team in any other duties as assigned


🎓 Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent

    • Fortrea may consider equivalent experience in lieu of formal education

  • Certifications (Preferred):

    • EMT

    • Phlebotomy

    • CMA (Certified Medical Assistant)

    • CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant)

  • Experience:

    • 0–1 year of clinical research experience

    • Previous clinical or healthcare experience is preferred

    • Open to recent graduates or those with recent relevant experience

  • Able to quickly prioritize and adapt to shifting clinical demands

  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

  • Tech-savvy – experience with electronic data collection systems is a plus
