Job Description

As a Benefit/Risk Officer at PrimeVigilance, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting pharmacovigilance activities. Ideally, you will have a life sciences or biomedical background, preferably in pharmacy, and experience in signal detection and management tools. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to patient safety while gaining exposure to various clinical trial and post-marketing teams.

The Benefit/Risk Officer will be responsible for:

  • Participating in signal detection activities, including setup and review of line listings for signal detection reports.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and performing quality control of complex signal detection reports.
  • Evaluating and categorizing potential signals, and proposing appropriate actions for identified signals.
  • Supporting communication efforts with regulatory authorities.
  • Maintaining relevant tracking tools and records.
  • Collaborating with various departments to ensure signal management complies with PrimeVigilance procedures and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Life sciences or biomedical background, preferably in pharmacy.
  • Previous experience in signal detection and the use of signal management tools is required.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to patient safety.
  • Strong skills in time and issue management, organization, multitasking, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Advanced English proficiency (B2 level or higher, both verbal and written).
