How You’ll Spend Your Day

  • Conduct polymorph screening in compliance with applicable guidelines.

  • Perform experimental and virtual screens, assess solid-state literature, and contribute to patent filings.

  • Operate and analyze samples using XRD, DSC, TGA, and other solid-state characterization techniques.

  • Evaluate kinetic and thermodynamic stability, monitor interconversion behavior, and produce solubility profiles of polymorphs.

  • Support crystallization process development and detect polymorphic purity in lab samples.

  • Monitor stability and physical behavior of micronized and milled materials.

  • Calibrate and validate instruments such as PXRD, DSC, TGA, and Particle Size Analyzer.

  • Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP), EHS protocols, and regulatory guidelines relevant to method and product development.


Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Education: M.Sc. in Chemistry or B.Tech in Chemical Engineering

  • Experience: 1–5 years in pharmaceutical R&D (solid-state/physical chemistry focus preferred)

  • Hands-on experience with solid-state analytical techniques

  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in method development and documentation
