Phlebotomist at Labcorp

Location: 415 Byers Rd Suite 500, Miamisburg, Ohio 45342
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am - 4:40pm, with rotating Saturdays every 5th week

Job Responsibilities:

  • Specimen Collection: Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all age groups.
  • Specialized Testing: Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
  • Data Entry: Accurately input patient information and process billing information.
  • Specimen Preparation: Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
  • Customer Service: Provide superior customer service and support to all patients.
  • Administrative Duties: Handle administrative and clerical duties as required.
  • Travel: Travel to additional sites when needed.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain logs for patient and specimen information.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification: Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program from an accredited agency. Previous experience as a phlebotomist is required.
  • Customer Service: Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Independent Worker: Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation and clean driving record (if applicable).
  • Additional Skills: Able to pass a standardized color blindness test and flexibility to work overtime as needed.
