As a Float Phlebotomist, you will gain diverse experience by working with various patients, team members, and clinics across multiple locations. This role will allow you to develop your skills and grow within the organization. If you enjoy variety, this position is perfect for you!

Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Float Incentive:

Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement

Work Schedule:

Monday – Friday: Hours vary between 7:30 AM – 7:30 PM
Rotating Saturdays
Additional days and hours may be required

Work Location:

Olathe, Overland Park, Lenexa, KS

Casual, PRN & Part-Time employees (working less than 20 hours per week) are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
Process billing information and collect payments when required
Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
Maintain patient and specimen information logs
Provide superior customer service to all patients
Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Travel to additional sites as needed

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency preferred
2 years of previous experience as a phlebotomist preferred
Valid Driver's License and good driving record required
Must be at least 21 years old
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Reliable transportation and a clean driving record (if applicable)
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Must be able to pass a standardized color blindness test
