About the Opportunity:

The Northeastern University Pharmaceutical Industry Fellowships Program is a comprehensive two-year experiential program designed to enhance lifelong learning for Pharm.D. graduates. This fellowship offers an unparalleled opportunity to work alongside leading biopharmaceutical industry partners and collaborate with esteemed Northeastern University faculty to advance professional development, career growth, and contributions to the industry.

In collaboration with Praxis Precision Medicines, Inc., this fellowship offers Pharm.D. graduates the chance to join their Medical Affairs team. Based in Boston or as a remote role with travel to Boston, the program offers an immersive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry.

About Praxis Precision Medicines, Inc.:

Praxis Precision Medicines is a pioneering clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company specializing in the development of therapies for CNS disorders, leveraging genetic insights into neuronal excitation-inhibition imbalances. Praxis is advancing therapies for both rare and common neurological diseases using proprietary platforms like Cerebrum™ and Solidus™, with a diverse portfolio of clinical-stage candidates targeting movement disorders and epilepsy.

Responsibilities:

As part of the dynamic Medical Affairs team at Praxis, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between the company's pipeline and the broader medical community. You will be involved in developing and implementing strategies to accelerate the approval of Praxis products while gaining hands-on experience through key initiatives. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing expertise in Praxis' platforms, Cerebrum™ and Solidus™.
  • Supporting the development of Medical Affairs plans, including Scientific Publications, Advisory Board engagements, and educational programs.
  • Contributing to medical brand planning, disease state programs, and corporate strategic objectives.
  • Engaging with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, academic communities, and patient advocacy groups.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams like Regulatory Affairs, Legal, and Clinical Development to ensure the communication of up-to-date scientific information.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an ACPE-accredited institution, eligible for U.S. licensure as a pharmacist.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to manage time efficiently.
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, creative problem-solving, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
