Pharmacy Technician (Research) – Oncology | Santa Monica, CA

Job Summary

UCLA Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician (Research) – Oncology to join our renowned clinical trials and research pharmacy team in Santa Monica. In this critical role, you'll assist in the preparation and management of investigational drugs, chemotherapy, and biologics within a regulated clinical research environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare sterile IV products including chemotherapy, biologics, and investigational drugs

  • Assist with inventory control and timely stock replenishment

  • Maintain organized, clean, and efficient pharmacy workspaces

  • Follow strict protocols to ensure compliance with research and safety standards

  • Support pharmacy operations as directed by supervisors or pharmacists


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Valid Pharmacy Technician license in California

  • Sterile compounding experience preferred (IV/chemotherapy prep)

  • Familiarity with investigational drugs and research protocols

  • Ability to work independently and handle sensitive drug handling

  • Strong communication and organizational skills
