Overview:

The PV Reporting Consultant is a client-facing role responsible for delivering data-driven insights, reporting solutions, and analytics support across global pharmacovigilance operations. The role requires combining analytical expertise with strong communication skills to translate complex PV data into actionable business insights for clients.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Delivery & Analytics Execution

  • Lead reporting and analytics for client projects in Pharmacovigilance and Patient Safety.

  • Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs using Tableau, Power BI, SAP Business Objects, and Excel.

  • Translate operational and scientific data into actionable business insights.

  • Design and automate reporting workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

2. Operational Support & Strategic Value

  • Maintain and manage reporting databases and visual analytics environments per client requirements.

  • Ensure data quality, validation compliance, and traceability across the data lifecycle.

  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports and presentations for client management.

  • Collaborate with client teams to analyze feedback, identify gaps, and propose solutions.

3. Engagement Management

  • Serve as a trusted advisor on how data informs business and operational decisions.

  • Manage timelines and deliverables in a fast-paced, project-based environment.

  • Support client innovation and transformation initiatives through analytics and reporting.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Data Analytics, or related field.

  • Experience: Client-facing engagements in pharma/biotech preferred.

  • Technical Skills:

    • SAP Business Objects (reporting)

    • Tableau or Power BI (dashboarding)

    • SQL (data querying and extraction)

    • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint

    • Data visualization techniques

  • Domain Knowledge: Understanding of pharmacovigilance operations and regulatory context is a plus.

  • Other Skills:

    • Knowledge of validation processes and documentation

    • Strong problem-solving skills

    • Excellent communication and client relationship management

    • Ability to work independently in a consulting environment
