🧩 Overview

We are seeking a business-savvy Pharmacovigilance (PV) Reporting & Analytics Consultant to support client engagements as part of the PV Analytics team. This is a strategic, client-facing consulting role ideal for professionals who combine data analytics expertise with the ability to deliver actionable business insights across global pharmacovigilance operations.

You will be responsible for leading reporting initiatives, developing data visualization solutions, and enabling smarter decision-making within the Pharmacovigilance and Patient Safety functions of top-tier pharmaceutical clients.


🎯 Key Responsibilities

1. Client Delivery & Analytics Execution

  • Serve as the reporting and analytics lead on assigned PV and safety-related projects.

  • Design and develop dashboards, KPIs, and reports using tools like:

    • Tableau

    • Power BI

    • SAP Business Objects

    • Microsoft Excel

  • Translate operational, scientific, and safety data into business-relevant insights.

  • Lead or support report automation to reduce manual tasks and streamline processes.


2. Operational Support & Strategic Value

  • Manage and maintain reporting databases and visual analytics environments per client requirements.

  • Ensure data quality, compliance, and traceability across the data lifecycle.

  • Prepare ad hoc and recurring reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Analyze client and stakeholder feedback to identify gaps and propose data-driven solutions.


3. Engagement Management

  • Act as a strategic advisor to client teams, helping them leverage data for key operational and business decisions.

  • Manage project timelines and deliverables in a dynamic consulting environment.

  • Support innovation initiatives including performance measurement and operational transformation through analytics.


📚 Preferred Qualifications

  • Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Data Analytics, Public Health, or related field.

  • Experience:

    • Proven experience working in client-facing roles, preferably within the pharma or biotech industry.

    • Hands-on involvement in pharmacovigilance or patient safety reporting is a strong plus.

  • Technical Proficiency:

    • SAP Business Objects – Strong reporting expertise

    • Tableau / Power BI – Dashboard creation and data visualization

    • SQL – Data querying and extraction

    • MS Excel & PowerPoint – Data manipulation and client presentation skills

  • Knowledge/Skills:

    • Understanding of pharmacovigilance operations, safety databases, and regulatory reporting.

    • Familiarity with validation processes and compliance documentation.

    • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving orientation, and ability to work independently.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
