Job Overview
ICON Strategic Solutions, a global leader in healthcare intelligence and clinical research, is hiring a Pharmacovigilance Associate to support its expanding drug safety operations. As a Pharmacovigilance Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring patient safety by monitoring, evaluating, and reporting adverse events. You will contribute to maintaining compliance with global regulatory standards while supporting signal detection and risk management activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, review, and process adverse event (AE) reports in compliance with global pharmacovigilance regulations

  • Perform signal detection and risk assessment to identify potential safety concerns

  • Ensure accurate and timely safety data reporting to regulatory authorities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinical, regulatory, and medical affairs

  • Assist in the preparation and submission of safety reports and aggregate reports

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global drug safety regulations and industry best practices

  • Support internal audits, inspections, and safety-related queries

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)

  • Experience Required: 1–3 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, drug safety, or clinical research

  • Strong understanding of pharmacovigilance processes and regulatory requirements (e.g., ICH, GVP guidelines)

  • Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in safety data handling

  • Advanced proficiency in English (written and verbal)

  • Ability to work independently in a remote/home-based environment

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with safety databases (e.g., Argus, ARISg)

  • Knowledge of global regulatory frameworks (FDA, EMA)

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
