Job Overview

ICON plc is seeking a Senior Statistical Programmer I with expertise in Pharmacometrics, PK modeling, and NONMEM to support clinical trial data analysis.

In this role, you will collaborate with biostatisticians and clinical teams to develop statistical programs, perform pharmacokinetic analyses, and ensure the accuracy of clinical study results used for regulatory submissions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and validate R programs for statistical analysis and reporting of clinical trial data.

  • Perform Pharmacokinetic (PK) modeling and analysis using NONMEM.

  • Collaborate with biostatisticians to define analysis plans and statistical methodologies.

  • Conduct quality control (QC) checks on statistical outputs to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Support preparation of statistical reports, presentations, and regulatory submission documents.

  • Identify opportunities to improve programming efficiency and statistical workflows.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Experience in statistical programming within clinical research or pharmaceutical environments.

  • Strong proficiency in R programming.

  • Hands-on experience with Pharmacokinetics (PK) and NONMEM modeling.

  • Strong understanding of statistical concepts and clinical data analysis methodologies.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting clinical trial data analysis and regulatory submissions.

  • Knowledge of pharmacometrics workflows and PK/PD modeling approaches.

  • Experience working with cross-functional clinical research teams.
