Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage pharmacovigilance agreements (PVAs) with external business partners.

  • Lead and perform negotiations to define agreement conditions.

  • Ensure regular contact and good relations with key partners for compliance.

  • Communicate agreement requirements to Patient Safety functions and other Sandoz units.

  • Alert Patient Safety management, QPPV, and partners about compliance and reconciliation issues.

  • Oversee and implement corrective actions to maintain high compliance standards.

  • Conduct timely reviews and updates of PVAs.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date agreement records in repositories.

  • Collaborate with local and regional business units for new or modified deals.

  • Stay updated on current and evolving pharmacovigilance regulations.

  • Provide expert guidance on Sandoz vigilance agreements to internal teams and partners.

  • Participate in due diligence for new deals and assess partner PV systems.

  • Lead PV collaboration strategy development.

  • Support inspections by Health Authorities, internal audits, and partner audits.


Minimum Requirements

Education:

  • Degree in Biomedical Science or a related scientific discipline.

  • Higher degree desirable.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years in pharmacovigilance or related regulatory/compliance roles.

  • At least 2 years in Patient Safety Alliance.

  • Strong knowledge of:

    • Safety reporting

    • PV systems and safety databases

    • Industry regulations and pharmacovigilance guidelines

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work in cross-functional, matrix environments.

  • High cultural awareness and sensitivity.

  • Strong planning and organizational skills.

  • Capable of working independently and under pressure.

  • Leadership abilities for meetings, negotiations, and training.
