Job Overview

Fortrea is seeking a Patient Engagement & Recruitment Lead to join our clinical team. This hybrid role will drive patient engagement and recruitment strategies for clinical trials, focusing on enhancing the site and patient experience, raising awareness, and accelerating recruitment timelines. You will work with various internal and external stakeholders to promote clinical trial access and ensure the successful execution of recruitment efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development & Implementation:
    • Build and implement disease-specific engagement and recruitment strategies, utilizing patient advocacy groups, digital tools, and other patient services.
    • Ensure the delivery of materials and tactics in alignment with trial timelines.
  • Clinical Trial Acceleration:
    • Lead patient recruitment efforts to speed up clinical trial processes.
    • Work with stakeholders within Global Development Operations to monitor progress and adjust tactics as needed.
  • Innovation & Diversity:
    • Drive innovation in engagement and recruitment practices, keeping patients and caregivers at the forefront.
    • Advocate for diversity in recruitment and collaborate with study leaders to ensure diverse recruitment strategies.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
    • Partner with site and patient organizations for insights into trial experiences.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance recruitment toolkits and share feedback for process improvement.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making:
    • Leverage analytics to assess recruitment tactics and inform future strategies.
    • Manage the recruitment budget and balance strategy with deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    • BA/BS in Legal, Life Science, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 1-3 years of clinical development experience in the pharma, biotech, or CRO industries.
    • Familiarity with patient engagement and recruitment strategies, ICH/GCP guidelines, and the drug development process.
    • Proficient with MS Office, SharePoint, and CTMS (Veeva preferred).
    • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay Range: $105,000 - $110,000 (excluding benefits and potential bonuses)
  • Benefits:
