Job Overview

The Pathologist will provide pathology expertise for assay development, clinical trials, FDA submissions, and companion diagnostic development, supporting innovative oncology diagnostic solutions and precision medicine initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide pathology and slide reading support for assay development and clinical studies.
  • Support FDA submission activities for diagnostic products.
  • Evaluate histopathology, immunohistochemistry (IHC), in situ hybridization (ISH), immunofluorescence, and multiplex assays.
  • Support development of primary antibodies, detection systems, probes, and special stains.
  • Serve as pathology/medical representative on project core teams.
  • Collaborate with internal and external scientific/development teams.
  • Advise on pathology and future medical needs.
  • Support companion diagnostic (CDx) development initiatives.
  • Drive process improvements for operational efficiency.
  • Support digital pathology workflows and advanced diagnostic technologies.

Required Experience

  • M.D. or D.O.
  • US Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology
  • Active state medical license
  • Residency training in anatomic pathology
  • Strong experience in surgical pathology
  • Experience evaluating complex IHC assays such as:
    • PD-L1
    • HER2
    • Ki-67
