Overview
We are hiring a detail-oriented Packing Executive to support pharmaceutical and chemical packaging operations at our Bangalore facility. This role is responsible for accurate chemical weighing, packaging coordination, safety compliance, and adherence to quality standards. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in pharma or biochemistry packaging environments and a strong understanding of chemical handling protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the planning team to schedule daily purchase orders (POs) 1–2 days in advance and hand over staging requirements.

  • Accurately weigh hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals using calibrated precision equipment.

  • Verify proper functioning of hoods, safety systems, and weighing balances before operations.

  • Ensure electronic balances are calibrated and maintain accurate documentation records.

  • Cross-check lot numbers between weigh-up materials and bulk containers to ensure traceability.

  • Arrange appropriate containers and packaging materials as per standard packaging instructions.

  • Perform weight checks and quality verification in compliance with SOPs and safety guidelines.

  • Handle semi-automated packaging equipment efficiently.

  • Follow proper PPE protocols and safe chemical handling and disposal practices.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

  • 6 months to 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, or biochemistry packaging operations.

  • Understanding of hazardous chemical handling, PPE requirements, and workplace safety standards.

  • Basic mathematical skills, including proficiency in the metric system.

  • Familiarity with semi-automated packaging or production equipment.

  • Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical dexterity for small and large tool handling.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOP-driven processes.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in GMP-regulated manufacturing environments.

  • Knowledge of quality documentation and batch record maintenance.

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, process-driven production setting.
