Role Overview

As a Packing Executive, you will coordinate packaging operations ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance. You will work closely with the planning team and perform precise weighing and handling of hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals following safety protocols.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the planning team to plan daily Purchase Orders (POs) 1-2 days in advance.

  • Prepare and hand over PO lists for staging and related activities.

  • Accurately weigh hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals using precision equipment into specific containers.

  • Verify hood and safety equipment function before weighing.

  • Confirm electronic balance calibration and maintain related records.

  • Verify matching lot numbers between weigh-up and bulk containers.

  • Obtain correct types and quantities of containers as per packaging instructions.

  • Perform weight checks and ensure compliance with packaging guidelines.


Who You Are

Education

  • Any graduation degree.

Experience

  • 6 months to 2 years of packaging experience, preferably from pharma or biochemistry backgrounds.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Awareness of chemical hazards, PPE requirements, and safe handling and disposal methods.

  • Basic math skills including metric system knowledge.

  • Experience handling semi-automated packaging equipment.

  • Good eye-hand coordination and dexterity with small and large tools.
