Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology Physician to join our team at the BSW McClinton Cancer Center located at 150 Hillcrest Medical Blvd, Waco, TX 76712. This position offers an employed career opportunity in a vibrant community, just 90 minutes from Austin and Dallas/Fort Worth, with a generous benefits package that emphasizes work-life balance.

Position Highlights:

  • Join a dedicated team of 4 physicians at our cancer center.
  • Manage a patient load of 15-20 patients daily.
  • Standard office hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Access to on-site lab, pharmacy, infusion center, and radiation oncology services.
  • Benefit from a strong referral base from primary care providers, surgeons, and inpatient facilities.
  • Academic affiliation with Baylor College of Medicine - Temple.
  • Utilize EPIC and BEACON electronic medical records systems.
  • Support staff includes Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Navigators, Nurse Coordinators, and clerical staff.
  • Opportunities available for involvement in clinical trials.

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate Degree in Medicine; Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology.
  • Licensed to practice medicine in Texas by the Texas Medical Board.
  • Must be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate board eligibility through the American Board of Medical Specialties or Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
