Role Overview
The Officer – QC is responsible for performing analytical testing of pharmaceutical samples across different stages of manufacturing and ensuring compliance with quality standards using laboratory instruments and validated procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Laboratory Testing
Perform QC testing of:
Finished goods
Semi-finished goods
Validation samples
Cleaning samples
Stability samples
Packaging materials
Instrument Handling
Operate and maintain analytical instruments such as:
UV Spectrophotometer (U)
FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy)
HPLC systems (Waters, Shimadzu)
Viscometer
Equipment Maintenance
Ensure instruments and laboratory equipment are maintained in proper working condition
Follow approved procedures for:
Instrument usage
Cleaning and calibration
Report and support resolution of equipment issues
