Job Summary:

Pfizer is seeking a Neuroscience Health and Science Professional (HSP) to support its efforts in advancing therapies for patients, particularly in the Migraine therapeutic area. This role involves driving sales within a designated territory, building strong customer relationships, and implementing strategic business plans to ensure the delivery of effective treatments.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales and Territory Management:

  • Drive sales growth in the assigned territory (Wilmington, NC, and surrounding areas).
  • Develop and execute business and territory call plans.
  • Identify and implement live and virtual engagement strategies to maximize effectiveness and impact.
  • Utilize internal reports and analytics to identify and develop strategic business opportunities.

2. Customer Engagement and Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain strong rapport with healthcare providers in both live and virtual environments.
  • Educate providers on unbranded and branded products using clinically oriented disease state information.
  • Strategically utilize digital tools to effectively engage with customers.

3. Collaboration and Teamwork:

  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to address customer needs.
  • Compliantly collaborate to achieve Pfizer’s business objectives.

4. Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure all activities align with Pfizer’s policies and relevant healthcare regulations.
  • Complete administrative tasks accurately and on time.

Qualifications:

Must-Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • OR Associate’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • OR High school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in one or more of the following:
    • Professional sales or promotional activities.
    • Small business ownership or entrepreneurial experience.
    • Marketing, customer service, or account management.
    • Relevant healthcare/scientific roles (e.g., RN, Pharmacist, PT, OT).
    • Educator roles (e.g., Teacher, Principal).
    • Full-time military experience.
  • Live within 25 miles of the territory border.
  • Valid US driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the territory, including overnight stays if necessary.

Nice-to-Have:

  • At least 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical sales experience.
  • Strong track record in sales success and territory management.
  • Knowledge of the territory’s customers, institutions, and organizations.
  • Experience with applicable disease states and therapeutic areas.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $71,700 - $180,200 annually, plus a quarterly sales incentive bonus.
