Job Summary

The Associate Manager, Clinical – HST is responsible for providing clinical and technical expertise for Baxter's medical device portfolio. The role focuses on product demonstrations, clinical training, technical troubleshooting, customer support, and collaboration with commercial teams to ensure successful product adoption and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Support & Product Implementation

  • Provide expert clinical and technical support for Baxter's medical devices.

  • Support product installations and initial device setup at customer sites.

  • Assist healthcare professionals during critical and high-profile procedures.

  • Ensure safe and effective device utilization.

Product Demonstration & Training

  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for:

    • Surgeons

    • Nurses

    • Technicians

    • Healthcare Professionals

  • Deliver hands-on clinical training programs.

  • Educate users on device operation, best practices, and troubleshooting.

Technical Troubleshooting

  • Diagnose and resolve product application issues.

  • Provide remote and on-site technical support.

  • Work closely with customers to ensure minimal operational disruptions.

  • Escalate complex technical issues when required.

Sales & Commercial Support

  • Partner with sales teams during customer engagements.

  • Provide product expertise throughout the sales cycle.

  • Support achievement of sales targets through clinical value demonstrations.

  • Participate in customer meetings and product evaluations.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and hospital stakeholders.

  • Gather customer feedback and market insights.

  • Communicate customer requirements and product improvement opportunities to internal teams.

Market & Product Knowledge

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of:

    • Medical devices and technologies

    • Surgical procedures

    • Competitive products

    • Clinical best practices

  • Attend conferences, workshops, and industry events.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in:

    • Biomedical Engineering

    • Surgery Technology

    • Life Sciences

    • Allied Health Sciences

    • Related Clinical Discipline

Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in:

    • Medical Devices

    • Clinical Application Support

    • Surgical Product Support

    • Clinical Training

    • Healthcare Technology

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Strong clinical understanding of surgical procedures.

  • Excellent presentation and demonstration skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Salary Criteria

Expected Salary: ₹8–15 LPA for candidates with 2–5 years of Medical Device Application, Clinical Specialist, Surgical Support, or Biomedical Engineering experience; candidates with strong surgical device expertise may earn ₹15–20+ LPA depending on product portfolio and territory responsibility.
