Position Overview

We are looking for a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our team in Warsaw, Poland, with a preference for candidates located in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship (Województwo Małopolskie). As an MSL, you will be a key field-based medical affairs ambassador, engaging with scientific experts and medical professionals to address external research needs, respond to inquiries, and facilitate scientific dialogue. You will play a critical role in supporting medical initiatives, identifying research opportunities, and providing insights that guide Lilly’s research and commercialization strategies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Scientific Expertise and Communication:
    Possess and demonstrate deep scientific knowledge in therapeutic areas (TAs) and disease states. Communicate complex scientific concepts and clinical information effectively to engage with scientific experts, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.

  • Strategic Territory Management:
    Develop and execute a strategic territory plan, prioritizing key activities and medical objectives. Take responsibility for the successful implementation of the plan, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.

  • Customer Engagement:
    Build and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with scientific experts. Engage in two-way scientific dialogue, providing valuable information and insights that address clinical and research needs.

  • Collaboration Across Functions:
    Partner with internal teams, including Marketing, Compliance, Legal, Regulatory, Market Access, and Sales, to enhance the execution of medical initiatives and maximize the impact of scientific exchange.

  • Leadership and Problem-Solving:
    Act as a peer leader and coach, demonstrating leadership capabilities across functions. Use strategic thinking to synthesize complex data and identify solutions to challenges in compliance and scientific communication.

  • Customer-Focused Solutions:
    Provide relevant scientific data and information that meets the needs of stakeholders. Ensure that information is clear, accurate, and aligned with Lilly’s goals and regulatory standards.


Qualifications

  • Experience:
    A minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally with a focus on medical affairs, scientific exchange, and customer engagement.

  • Education:
    A university degree or PhD in Health Sciences or a medically related field is required.

  • Therapeutic Area Knowledge:
    Experience or knowledge in Diabetes would be an advantage, though not mandatory.

  • Languages:
    Proficiency in English is required.
