The Opportunity

We are seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our team. As an MSL, you will act as a regional medical and scientific resource, fostering relationships with national and regional External Experts (EEs) to achieve key medical objectives.

Your role will include scientific exchange, healthcare provider (HCP) education on Teva products and disease areas (Movement Disorders and Psychiatry), and clinical research support. This position covers the Mid-Atlantic territory (MD, DE, Washington, DC metro).


Key Responsibilities

Engagement with External Experts

  • Build and manage collaborative relationships with EEs and healthcare professionals (e.g., physicians, pharmacists, advanced practice providers) specializing in Psychiatry and Movement Disorders.
  • Provide scientific and educational presentations to healthcare professionals and internal teams (e.g., sales training, marketing initiatives, advisory meetings).
  • Participate in medical meetings and programs as a representative of Teva.

Research and Support

  • Identify and support clinical trial investigators and sites for company-sponsored studies.
  • Respond to requests for medical information and provide fair-balanced, compliant answers.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Teva’s products, scientific research, and relevant publications.

Administrative Duties

  • Accurately complete administrative reports, documentation, and special projects.
  • Attend evening and weekend events and participate in overnight travel (up to 60%).

Your Experience and Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Terminal Scientific Doctoral Degree (e.g., PhD, MD, DO, PharmD, PsyD).
  • Experience: At least 1 year of relevant therapeutic and/or clinical experience in neuropsychiatric fields.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct patient care experience with severe mental illnesses (e.g., schizophrenia, tardive dyskinesia).
  • At least 1 year of pharmaceutical industry experience.
  • Strong skills in delivering oral presentations and publishing therapeutic research.
