Role Summary
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will lead scientific engagement with Medical Experts (MEs), provide medical and scientific information, support clinical research activities, and act as a key scientific resource for internal and external stakeholders.
The role focuses on:
Scientific communication
Medical expert engagement
Clinical trial support
Investigator-initiated research facilitation
Medical enquiry handling
Pharmacovigilance reporting support
Key Responsibilities
1. Medical Expert (ME) Engagement
Engage with Medical Experts to provide scientific and medical information
Identify and map key medical experts and strategic accounts
Develop and execute engagement plans aligned with country strategy
Identify opportunities for scientific collaboration
2. Medical Information Support
Respond to unsolicited medical/scientific queries from healthcare professionals
Provide accurate, compliant, and evidence-based information
3. Clinical Research Support
Support clinical research programs and trial execution
Collaborate with clinical operations teams to improve study outcomes
Provide scientific support to clinical trial sites
4. Investigator-Initiated Trials (IIT)
Facilitate IIT processes based on investigator requests
Support review and coordination of proposed studies
5. Pharmacovigilance & Compliance
Report adverse events, product complaints, and special cases within 24 hours
Ensure compliance with ethics and regulatory guidelines
Work within internal compliance frameworks
6. Internal Scientific Support
Act as a medical resource for cross-functional teams
Support medical education initiatives and scientific discussions
