The Opportunity: Medical Science Liaison (MSL)

This is a remote role that must reside in one of the following states: Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, North Dakota, or South Dakota.

Position Overview

As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), you will serve as a regional medical and scientific expert, developing relationships with External Experts (EEs) to support Teva's scientific objectives in Neurology.

Key responsibilities include engaging in fair-balanced scientific discussions with EEs, educating healthcare providers on Teva's products and disease areas, and supporting clinical research efforts.


How You'll Spend Your Day

Relationship Building:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with External Experts (EEs) and healthcare professionals (e.g., physicians, pharmacists, advanced practice providers) in Neurology.
  • Collaborate with professional organizations to foster scientific and clinical education.

Medical Support:

  • Provide scientific and educational presentations to healthcare professionals and internal teams (e.g., sales training, advisory meetings, marketing initiatives).
  • Respond to medical information requests in a scientific, fair-balanced, and compliant manner.
  • Assist in identifying potential investigators and sites for company-sponsored clinical trials.

Representation:

  • Professionally represent Teva at select medical meetings and events, including evenings and weekends.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Teva's products and therapeutic areas.

Administrative Duties:

  • Complete accurate and timely reports, documentation, and projects.
  • Manage a travel schedule that includes up to 60% overnight travel, including evenings and weekends.

Your Experience and Qualifications

Required:

  • Terminal scientific degree (e.g., PhD, MD, DO, PharmD, PsyD, DNP) or Master’s in Nursing with APRN licensure specializing in Neurology.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical or therapeutic experience in Neurology.

Preferred:

  • 1+ years of direct patient care experience in CNS/Neurology.
  • 1+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
  • Proven ability to deliver influential oral presentations.
  • Experience publishing research in relevant therapeutic areas.
