Job Overview

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) – Immunology & Gene Therapy serves as a field-based scientific expert, engaging with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the areas of gene therapy and immunology. This role focuses on Recurrent Respiratory Papillomatosis (RRP), supporting scientific exchange and fostering relationships within the Otolaryngology and Gene Therapy communities.

The MSL will provide scientific insights, support medical education, and collaborate with professional societies, clinical centers, and institutions involved in gene therapy. This position requires expertise in AdenoVerse® gene therapy, with responsibilities including KOL engagement, clinical trial support, and strategic scientific exchange.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary medical contact in the assigned geographic territory.
  • Maintain deep scientific expertise in otolaryngology, gene therapy, and RRP treatment standards.
  • Establish and develop long-term relationships with KOLs and healthcare practitioners.
  • Provide scientific education and support to HCPs, aligning with corporate and regulatory guidelines.
  • Represent EVERSANA at medical conferences, advisory boards, and scientific meetings.
  • Assist in clinical trial support, including investigator-initiated studies.
  • Respond to unsolicited medical inquiries with well-supported, evidence-based information.
  • Monitor industry trends and provide medical insights to internal teams.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to ensure alignment of medical strategy with business objectives.
  • Adhere to compliance regulations, ensuring ethical and regulatory standards in all interactions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree required: PharmD, PhD, MD, MSN, or NP/PA.
  • Experience required:
    • MSL Level: At least 2 years of MSL experience, with 1 year in rare disease, oncology, or immunology.
    • Senior MSL Level: At least 5 years of pharma experience, with 3 years in rare disease, oncology, or immunology.
  • Gene therapy and cell therapy experience preferred.
  • Prior product launch experience required.
  • Strong scientific communication and KOL engagement skills.
  • Ability to present complex scientific data to healthcare professionals and payer organizations.
  • Knowledge of clinical trial protocols and regulatory guidelines.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% for site visits, congresses, and internal meetings.
