Position Summary

We are actively seeking experienced Oncology Medical Science Liaison (MSL) professionals to join our team. The MSL serves as a key link between IQVIA, the client, and the medical/scientific community, facilitating credible, compliant, and scientifically driven communication.

The MSL:

  • Builds relationships with physicians, investigators, and institutions.

  • Provides medical and scientific expertise to support clinical trials and research.

  • Ensures the dissemination of accurate, balanced, and evidence-based information in oncology.


Key Responsibilities

Scientific & Medical Engagement

  • Provide field-based medical/scientific support for clinical research programs.

  • Deliver scientific presentations on oncology disease areas and company pipeline.

  • Exchange accurate, fair, and balanced scientific information with external experts.

  • Identify, categorize, and engage key opinion leaders (KOLs) and investigators.

  • Act as a clinical resource for physicians, pharmacists, and other stakeholders.

Clinical Trial Support

  • Partner with site management and monitoring teams for trial initiation and oversight.

  • Engage with trial sites to address enrollment/screening barriers and support accrual.

  • Support clinical study sites with disease knowledge, training, and new data insights.

  • Participate in site selection by recommending investigators and institutions.

Insights & Intelligence

  • Report competitive intelligence, treatment landscape updates, and field insights.

  • Maintain investigator lists and track competitor research activities.

  • Gather and share insights with medical, marketing, and clinical teams.

Collaboration & Representation

  • Facilitate investigator-initiated studies (IIS/ISTs) within company pipeline assets.

  • Support advisory boards, congresses, and symposia in a compliant manner.

  • Represent the company at relevant scientific meetings and congresses.

  • Serve as a scientific resource for internal stakeholders and external partners.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure all activities comply with local/global laws, regulations, codes of conduct, and IQVIA/client policies.

  • Timely reporting of drug risks, mandatory e-learning completion, and CRM updates.

  • Act as an ambassador of IQVIA and the client company at all times.


Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Prior experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare environment.

  • Strong scientific and medical expertise in oncology.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.

  • Project management, territory management, and CRM proficiency.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Pay Range: $200,000 – $265,000 annually (based on qualifications, experience, and location).

  • Additional incentive plans, bonuses, and comprehensive health & welfare benefits may be offered.
