Role Summary

We are looking for a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our team in Oncology/Lung Cancer for the Central Region. In this role, you will engage in scientific exchange with experts in lung cancer therapy, provide critical study data, and foster scientific collaboration in both clinical and practical settings. You will also play an active role in organizing and moderating scientific events, attending congresses, and supporting clinical studies and research initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Scientific Exchange: Lead scientific discussions with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and clinical experts in the field of lung cancer, both in clinics and practices. Serve as a scientific resource for the sales team.

  • Data Presentation: Prepare and deliver current study data to stakeholders, utilizing both in-person and virtual channels.

  • Event Management: Organize, moderate, and execute scientific events to foster knowledge exchange among experts and stakeholders.

  • Market Insight: Provide valuable insights to internal teams regarding therapy trends and other developments in the lung cancer therapeutic space.

  • Conference Participation: Actively attend conferences and symposia to expand networks, deepen scientific knowledge, and present the latest research findings.

  • Network Building: Identify, build, and maintain relationships with Scientific and Clinical Experts. Support clinical studies and collaborate with scientific institutions such as universities and research centers.


Qualifications

  • Educational Background: A completed degree in Medicine or Natural Sciences; a PhD is a plus.

  • Experience: Several years of experience in a field-based role, ideally as a Medical Science Liaison, with a focus on oncology and lung cancer.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement strategies to promote scientific exchange and collaboration within the network.

  • Autonomy & Flexibility: Ability to work independently in the field, manage multiple priorities, and be flexible with frequent travel in the assigned region. Team-oriented mindset is essential.

  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate complex scientific content clearly to a wide range of audiences. Effective negotiation and presentation skills are a must.

  • Languages: Proficient in both German and English, with strong MS Office skills.
