As an MSL, you will engage with healthcare professionals (HCPs) to shape medical behavior, support informed decision-making, and drive the adoption of our innovative treatments. You will play a key role in educating the medical community and providing valuable insights into the development of medical strategy.

In this role, you will work closely with HCPs and key opinion leaders (KOLs) to foster relationships, disseminate scientific knowledge, and gather insights that will drive the success of our therapies. Your work will directly impact the success of pre-launch initiatives, adoption of new knowledge, and market access strategies in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build Relationships with HCPs:
Develop strong partnerships with community and academic healthcare professionals (HCPs), aiming to influence medical practice and behaviors through the exchange of scientific knowledge.

  • Support Product Adoption:
Convey the value of product attributes such as efficacy, safety, adherence, and quality of life (QoL) to stakeholders, helping to drive endorsement and adoption of new treatments.

  • Shaping Medical Practice:
Engage with the medical community during the pre-launch phase to prepare the healthcare environment, accelerating the adoption of innovative therapies through Physician Initiated Studies (PIs) and pre-approval access programs.

  • Scientific Support & Education:
Respond to scientific inquiries from HCPs, investigators, and healthcare systems, providing accurate, real-world evidence and integrating scientific data into daily practice to meet the needs of your audience.

  • Site Identification & Recruitment:
Collaborate with the Therapeutic Area (TA) Head and Senior Medical Manager to identify potential clinical trial sites and support site recruitment efforts when needed.

  • Execute Medical Field Educational Events:
Lead educational events focused on the pipeline and key in-line products to raise awareness and educate the medical community.

  • Gather and Share Insights:
Collect insights from field interactions regarding scientific knowledge, treatment paradigms, medical needs, and opportunities. Use this data to inform broader medical strategy.

  • Territory & KOL Engagement Plan:
Develop and execute a territory and KOL engagement plan in line with the overall strategic direction and in collaboration with the broader Medical Affairs team.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent degree preferred.
  • 0-2 years of work experience in a medical science liaison or relevant scientific/clinical role.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex scientific information effectively to healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
