Role Overview

TCS is seeking an experienced Medical Reviewer to perform in-depth medical reviews of clinical and safety data. The role requires strong medical expertise to assess adverse events, labeling, and causality in both marketed drugs and drugs under development. This position demands analytical rigor, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a collaborative, regulatory-compliant environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct medical review of clinical cases, solicited and spontaneous reports, and literature articles.

  • Assess case narratives, seriousness, AE/SAE terms, suspect drugs, concomitant medications, laboratory data, and medical history.

  • Perform medical assessment, including causality evaluation and adherence to company causality statements.

  • Review coding accuracy and evaluate the medical context of cases globally for drugs in development and marketed products.

  • Maintain thorough knowledge of disease biology, safety concerns, and therapeutic areas relevant to assigned drugs and clinical projects.

  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives to improve medical review processes and ensure regulatory compliance.


Qualifications & Skills

Education:

  • MBBS or MD (Mandatory)

Experience:

  • 3 – 20 years in medical review, pharmacovigilance, or related clinical roles.

  • Strong knowledge of medical regulations, AE/SAE reporting, and drug safety requirements.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Expertise in medical case evaluation, causality assessment, and coding.

  • Ability to interpret complex clinical data and summarize findings clearly.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
