Summary:
In alignment with overall product strategy, the Medical Lead (Medical Advisor) will be responsible for shaping and executing the Medical Affairs plan for the assigned therapy area. This role includes providing scientific insights, facilitating clinical study designs, and establishing valuable relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and regulatory bodies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the country medical affairs strategy in alignment with global strategy, market insights, and local conditions.

  • Organize and coordinate medical/scientific engagement activities like symposia, congresses, and CMEs to drive therapy area value.

  • Address medical inquiries with high-quality, timely responses and prepare standard response documents for FAQs.

  • Contribute to the design and oversight of clinical trials and non-interventional studies (NIS)/Investigator-Initiated Trials (IIT).

  • Review and approve both global and local medical and promotional materials, ensuring alignment with local/P3 regulations.

  • Deliver medical insights across departments including Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory, Market Access, QA, and Brand teams.

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks while ensuring appropriate internal controls are implemented.


Essential Requirements:

  • MBBS and MD degree (mandatory)

  • Minimum 1+ year of industry experience

  • Strong skills in project execution and cross-functional collaboration

  • Knowledge of clinical trial design, medical science, and disease-specific expertise

  • Experience with scientific engagement and medical education

  • Familiarity with NIS/Epidemiology studies and medical governance


Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience in the Cardiovascular therapy area
