Job Summary:
The Medical Lead is responsible for executing the medical strategy for assigned therapy areas in alignment with global goals and local market needs. The role supports clinical research activities, develops scientific partnerships, manages stakeholder engagement, and ensures compliance with medical governance while delivering high-quality scientific and educational value to both internal and external stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support national medical affairs strategy in line with global direction and local market dynamics

  • Organize and lead scientific events such as congresses, CMEs, and symposia

  • Address medical inquiries and develop scientifically sound response documents

  • Provide input into and manage clinical trial and non-interventional study activities

  • Review and localize medical and promotional materials per regulatory and internal guidelines

  • Deliver actionable medical insights to cross-functional partners (Regulatory, Market Access, Commercial, etc.)

  • Ensure risk management, mitigation planning, and proper internal control practices within scope of responsibility


Essential Requirements:

  • MBBS and MD (mandatory) with minimum 2+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience

  • Demonstrated knowledge in:

    • Operations & Project Management

    • Clinical Trial Design & Reporting

    • Scientific Engagement & Medical Education

    • Medical Governance and Safety

    • Epidemiology/Non-Interventional Studies

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills


Desirable Experience:

  • Prior experience in Ophthalmology and/or Immunology therapy areas
