Job Description:
The Medical Information Specialist (German Speaking) plays a key role in EVERSANA’s Medical Communications team, providing high-quality medical information services in both German and English. Responsibilities include handling inquiries from healthcare professionals and patients, translating and delivering content, identifying adverse events, and preparing reports in compliance with global regulatory and client SOPs. The role also involves medical writing, market research, and participation in call center activities with rotating shifts.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Inquiry Management:

    • Translate documents between German and English and deliver responses orally or in writing.

    • Handle drug information queries from healthcare professionals and patients.

  • Pharmacovigilance & Quality:

    • Intake adverse events and product complaints following regulatory and client requirements.

    • Write medical narratives and support quality-related complaint processing.

  • Medical Content Development:

    • Write, review, and research literature to develop medical content.

    • Participate in miscellaneous projects including market research and training support.

  • Operations:

    • Work flexibly across shifts, including weekends and nights as scheduled.

    • Perform on-call responsibilities as required.


Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Degree in Pharmacy preferred; other Life Sciences degrees considered.

    • PharmD / MPharm is highly preferred.

  • Experience:

    • Clinical or pharmaceutical experience preferred.

    • Prior experience in call centers, medical information roles, or medical writing is desirable.

  • Language:

    • German (C1 or C2 level) and English (C1 level) mandatory.

    • Additional European languages are a plus.

  • Skills:

    • Strong translation and communication skills.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Windows applications.

    • Familiarity with safety databases and medical information systems.
