Position Overview

We are looking for a Medical Information Specialist to join our Manila-based team. In this role, you will handle medical information queries, manage product quality complaints, and process adverse drug reaction reports. As part of Fortrea’s global mission, your contributions will directly support the development of life-changing therapies and improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to medical information queries, product quality complaints, and general inquiries via phone, email, fax, or other communication methods.
  • Record, report, and manage adverse drug reaction data in compliance with regulations and internal SOPs.
  • Perform drug safety data management tasks, including call intake, dialogue documentation, peer review, and case follow-ups.
  • Track, reconcile, and quality-check various types of data and metrics.
  • Assist with training activities and ensure adherence to defined process steps.
  • Maintain accountability for the quality and accuracy of processed data.
  • Support additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background:

    • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare-related fields (e.g., Nursing, Pharmacy, Medical Technology, Physical Therapy, Radiologic Technology).
  • Experience:

    • 0 to 6 months of call center experience (entry-level candidates are welcome).
  • Skills and Attributes:

    • Strong communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage and process data accurately.
    • Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt to dynamic environments.
