Role Overview

The Medical Business Associate is a field-based pharmaceutical sales professional responsible for engaging healthcare professionals across Chandigarh and surrounding territories. This role focuses on building trusted relationships, delivering accurate science-based product information, and executing territory strategies to improve patient access and healthcare outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with doctors, pharmacists, and healthcare stakeholders.

  • Design and execute a territory business plan based on customer insights and market needs.

  • Communicate clear, compliant, and evidence-based product information to support clinical decision-making.

  • Accurately record customer interactions, sales activities, and market insights in company systems.

  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to address customer needs and improve patient access.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and clinical developments within the territory.

  • Continuously enhance product knowledge and therapeutic area expertise.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution (Mandatory).

  • Minimum 1+ year of customer-facing experience in field sales, pharmaceutical sales, medical representative, or territory management roles.

  • Valid driver’s license with willingness to travel extensively within Chandigarh and nearby areas.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Punjabi or Hindi.

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Legal right to work in India.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales.

  • Ability to confidently discuss clinical data and scientific information with healthcare professionals.

  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.

  • Ability to leverage customer insights and performance data to prioritize activities.

  • Multilingual capability, including Punjabi, Hindi, and other local languages spoken in Chandigarh.

  • High motivation, adaptability, and growth mindset.
