Overview

IQVIA MedTech is seeking a Material Handler I to support operations within our San Diego MedTech Depot.
This is an excellent opportunity to enter the medical device industry, utilizing previous warehouse or logistics experience to build a rewarding career.

We’re hiring immediately — offering a flexible schedule, training, and the chance to advance quickly while learning medical device handling, quality, and logistics processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lift and maneuver boxes or medical equipment weighing up to 50 lbs or more.

  • Prepare and mix cleaning solutions; clean and decontaminate incoming instruments per SOPs or manufacturer guidelines.

  • Organize service worksheets, customer paperwork, and transport instruments throughout the service department.

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments from freight carriers; verify documentation and nature of returns.

  • Warehouse returned products for evaluation, reconditioning, or loaner use.

  • Scrap obsolete products and process waste materials for vendor pickup.

  • Process and file service records after product servicing; package products as per Bill of Materials.

  • Include required Service Reports and Quality/Shipping documentation with each outgoing shipment.

  • Stock inventory in shipping area and maintain UPS equipment for daily operations.

  • Follow all safety, PPE, and facility compliance standards at all times.


Job Requirements

  • 0–2 years experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.

  • Must be dependable, reliable, and able to take direction effectively.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, stooping, reaching).

  • Must hold an active, unrestricted driver’s license.

  • Ability to travel onsite to San Diego, CA as required.

  • Comfortable working shift schedules, if applicable.

  • Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses in designated areas.


Preferred Attributes

  • Prior experience with medical device handling, logistics, or warehouse operations.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Reliable and consistent work ethic with a focus on safety and accuracy.

  • Willingness to learn and grow in the medical device logistics field.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 (based on experience and qualifications).
